Reviewing Past Dreams

Often upon waking up and remembering my dreams I would realize that there is something really symbolic in them, but I would not understand what exactly it is.

One time I had this dream where I was with some people and as we were talking, they mentioned something about introducing me to someone. Then this really peculiar person walked in and was acting really strange and had a really odd name. As this dream was continuing, suddenly the setting changed and things were taking place totally somewhere else and did not seem to have any relationship to the previous part of the dream. As I woke up, I really got a sense that there was something really special about this dream, but it was too odd for me to figure out at the time, so I decided to write it down.

Some time passed by and I picked up my journal and started to review my past dreams. As I came across this dream, I was totally astonished by it. As I was reading through it, I knew everything what that particular dream was saying. I was able to realize that the strange person was a clear representation of my state at that time, and the random setting was showing what exactly was causing it.

Never before this did I actually have such clear understanding about symbology in a dream. It was really amazing to actually have that experience and to see how down the road our dreams can take a whole new meaning.

Very interesting Stas! Makes me want to go over my old dream journals again... There are so many dreams that sound vague and because of the pride and ignorance i dismiss them, but there may actually be a lot of knowledge in them as you found out.
