I finally did it. I astral projected using this mantra FaRaOn. I have projected with other mantras and techniques, but now I finally have the confidence of FaRaOn working like magic.

I had woken up very early, too early and several hours later and after I gave a stranger some advice on what they needed to work on to astral travel, I decided I needed to take a nap. I went to bed and started to chant FaRaOn. I decided to chant this mantra because it was the last mantra I chanted with a group at the Gnostic center.

An experience in the astral

A little while ago, I found myself in the astral, but the simplicity of that experience is what struck me. It left me with such a deep impression of that moment in time. Why that event? I don’t know, but it has been something I wanted to share with others. Perhaps because of its simplicity; perhaps because it had all the hallmarks of astral projection; perhaps because it was the result of a conscious effort to get there; nonetheless, this is what unfolded...

Last night I projected directly to a place by visualizing it!

I woke up very early, and didn't want to stay up because I was still so tired, but I remembered that this was the perfect situation to practice astral projection.

My friends and I agreed on the astral goal of invoking the Master Samael about a week before the actual event. It gave us some time for internal preparation. A Great Master once said, "When two people on earth agree concerning anything that they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father who is in Heaven." I wanted us to agree without hesitation so that the night ran smoothly.

The first time I astral projected by visualizing a place, I was really surprised at how it happened!

I had been trying to project to a room in my house. The reason I picked my house is because I knew it very well—I spent so much time there, I knew all the rooms inside and out, so the memory of all those details about the house were so clear: the layout of the different rooms, the sliding glass doors, the bumpy tiles in the kitchen, everything.

The group goal was to visit the Glastonbury Tor in England. I had never been there, but when I saw pictures of it and researched this tourist attraction, I felt inspired. I learned about its history and its association with the Legend of King Arthur, Christianity, and various myths. Who built the terraced maze? How did it survive over the centuries? What lay beneath St. Michael's Tower? Is there a deeper, esoteric meaning to this place?

The following experience took place in the Melbourne Centre some time ago during an all night practice.

On occasions, in the centre, a group of students would get together on a Saturday evening and practice astral projection until dawn. We would practice to an agreed schedule, generally with a specific astral aim. This particular week our aim was to project to Stonehenge in England.

When I first found out about the technique of waking up in a dream, it did not work for me as it was described in the Astral Travel and Dreams book. I found myself flying at times here and there in dreams, but it was never a conscious experience; rather a more lucid dream where I was able to fly.

When my brother reached his teens he started having strange things happen to him at night. He would wake up completely paralyzed, unable to move as though an invisible force was holding him down. Sometimes he would hear strange whirring noises too, other times he would feel like his bed was vibrating. He couldn’t speak or call out for help and it used to terrify him. He would struggle and struggle and eventually would break out of it and find himself in his bed, alone and unhurt, with nothing there.
