To anyone who is looking for ways to astral project more easily or to remove fear from astral projection
practice....read on.
I was at a hypnosis website the other day downloading mp3s
when I saw that the hypnotist had a mp3 for astral projection
I was intrigued, so I bought the mp3. All I can say is it works !
I'm not affiliated with this product in any way, I give this reccomendation freely because I know how much I would have
benifited from it when I used to practice astral projection in my early 20's with limmited results.
I was expecting to astral project while listening to the mp3. Well that didn't happen and I was a little dissapointed,
I listened a few more times, and still nothing. But then the next night I had an astral projection after waking from sleep.
I knew it was a direct result of listening to the program because I hadn't astral projected for about 3 years (had forgoten about it).
Then I had another and another and another.
So I kinda got back into astral projection by accident.
I used to do a lot of meditation and all kinds of techniques and stuff with very limmited results.
This hypnosis program got me projecting very fast and I feel safe when I'm projecting. I remember I
used to feel alone and scared when I used to practice. So it has helped me a lot.

The reason it works so well is because the hypnotist is proficient at astral projection.
The main benifit of the mp3 is it helps to remove the fear.
One of the big differences with my recent projections after listening to the hypnosis has been much more confidence
and sense of comfort and safety when projecting.
I am hoping that someone will read this and get this hypnosis recording, it has been a huge leg up for me.

I can't say that I've ever used hypnosis to astral project, only mantras and techniques taught through the course offered on this site.
Yes, I can see why there would be fear. It's unchartered territory for most people. For a start, astral travel isn't on any school curriculum nor does Oprah discuss her astral experiences at great length.
Luckily, because I knew what physical sensations to expect and was given tips on how to protect myself, I wasn't scared when I had my first successful AP.
I hope this puts you more at ease and that you do keep trying. It's well worth the effort.

Can you say more about the structure of that recording session? Is it more based on affirmations while you are conscious or do you at some point go unconscious?

I've never had much luck with external tools such as CDs or special diets etc. Too bad I'd have to pay $30 to hear that MP3.
Good thing about this site and its parent site is that we can learn to have safe astral experiences for free.
The folks that run this site feel that since astral projection can be used for spiritual purposes than they or anyone has no right charging people money for it. Spiritual knowledge is not the sole property of any individual, it is for all of humanity. Therefore money charged for spiritual knowledge or information is very unethical and among other consequences, would lead most people to doubt the sellers motives and credibility. Of course I'm speaking in general terms as I am not familiar with the catalog you mentioned or the creator of the MP3.
I am however familiar with the techniques taught here. They are tried and true. They worked/work great for me and the others I have met here. Simple and effective. Taught by caring folks that have extensive knowledge and experience of the Astral and spirituality. If you're up for it, look around the sites :)

Great to hear that the hypnotism tape helped you to overcome your fears at projecting. Hope you'll keep at it and have more experiences!
It's quite common to have fear with astral projection due to various reasons, such as person's experiences and personality, ideas about projection etc. But it's nothing to be afraid of, as it is a perfectly natural and safe process that we go through each night, even if most often unconsciously. Basically, we're in the dimension astral experiences take place every night in our dreams, just don't know it. And every morning we come back to our body.
It might be useful to look deeper into those fears, try to see and understand them, and see if they pop up at other circumstances during the day too. To understand that they are actually something separate from us and can even be made to disappear completely. Otherwise they'll keep lurking in the subconscious just to come up later, even if a tape like that can help to subdue them temporarily.
At gnosticawakenings.com there are great courses that teach how to get rid of these states for good, as well as wonderful techniques for astral projection. They also give methods to improve the quality of your experiences and how to take the whole thing further. Definitely worth your while :)
